International Conference on
College Teaching and Learning

Plans are now underway for the 22nd International Conference on College Teaching and Learning. This year's conference theme is "Risk-Taking" and the official call for papers is now underway. As in the past, the conference stresses the applications of learning and motivation research and theory as well as the applications of technology to higher education learning. Emphasis is on research and practice in teaching and learning—with focus on uses of innovative learning strategies and the Internet in face-to-face, hybrid/blended, and online course development and teaching. The Conference is expected to provide 250 or more faculty presentations to 1,000 attendees from all academic fields and from around the world.

The Conference will be held April 4-8, 2011, at the Sawgrass Golf Resort & Spa, a Marriott resort. Surrounded by a breathtaking natural setting—where brilliant sunshine warms a gleaming beach and moss-draped oaks and magnolias frame impossibly blue lagoons—this Florida resort is the quintessential luxurious retreat. Set at one of the nation's finest beaches just minutes away from the country's oldest city, St. Augustine, and home to seven world-class golf courses, the Sawgrass Golf Resort & Spa promises you a destination beyond compare.
